The Snowmobile Trails opened Wednesday the 15th. They have not been groomed yet. The ground is white, but thin. We need more snow before the groomers can go out. We won’t send our rental sleds out until the trails are groomed. You can take your own machines out. The temps are going to stay down. We are about 20 degrees cooler than Rapid City. You won’t see snow until you pass Lead and climb up to us or if you are coming from Spearfish, you won’t see snow until you get to Spearfish Canyon Lodge. As of today, another snowfall is predicted next week Tuesday through Friday. We are still hoping and praying for that big amount of white gold to come!
